This is a beautiful 1985 Mercedes-Benz 380sl that has been well kept and maintained. The car is in outstanding physical condition and drives exquisitely. Although the odometer reads ~ 193K the car runs like a dream. especially when the top is down. $6. 00. 00 worth of work done within the last few years. which beyond regular oil changes and tune-ups include: new transmission. tires (less than 3. 00 miles). brake pads. wheel voltage regulator. antenna mast and seal. window switches. power antenna. and more. Just passed a smog test recently. no problem. The car is tight. handles well and runs soundly. Comes with original tool kit (missing screw driver). original Maintenance Booklet (which details every oil change and service from the time the car was first service in 1985 until an march of 2005 @ 178. 34 miles. I also have separate. additional receipts from 2002 to the present. ). original Owner’s Manual. original car cover. original floor mats and dash cover. storage cart. spare tire. and the two original keys. The car has been meticulously kept. It was originally purchased in San Jose. CA and there it remained. until I purchased it and moved it to Santa Barbara where it was maintained and cared for. All gauges on the dash. the power windows and heating. and all other parts work well. The AM/FM Cassette stereo is an aftermarket Kenwood system and is in fine working condition. Two aftermarket speakers have also been floor. behind the driver and passenger seats. While this Mercedes has been very well preserved. it does not come without blemishes. The body of the care is in fine condition with the original paint job still holding true. There are minor scratches on the body of the car. which can be expected given that the car is going on 30 years and has some miles to its life. As well. there is a small dent above the gas tank door. a small circle is fading. and some minor scratching due to the removal and replacement of the hard top. The soft top has a some small tears in the fabric. which is a minimal cost for repair (a new soft top can be purchased on Ebay for under ~$350. 00). The interior. tan leather has the usual wear with minor cracking. Other than that the interior is very clean. The car has no denting and has never been in an accident.
