Here's a project. I am selling my friend's one owner. nbsp; dealer maintained 450SL that was parked about 5 years ago in the driveway when she bought a new Mercedes. It hasn't been started or driven since. nbsp; and it will need considerable work to restore it. It has been in the Arizona sun so it is not rusty or corroded. But all the rubber. nbsp; plastic. and probably wiring will be dry and brittle. In addition. nbsp; pack rats built a nest in the engine bay. nbsp; so that wiring (etc) is bound to be a mess aside from the heat. It was a good running and driving car with no issues when it was parked. The paint is original. nbsp; dull from the sun. nbsp; but no fade-through yet. The body is remarkably nice. nbsp; not even any door dings are apparent. The glass is all good. The chrome and bright work are also good except one small scratch on the left rear bumper. The interior is faded. The dash is dry and cracked. The mats are not good. The interior is serviceable. nbsp; not torn. nbsp; but not very good looking. Tires are half flat. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. The car will sell to the highest bidder. nbsp; so please don't bid if you are not ready to win. nbsp; pay. nbsp; and arrange pickup from Tucson. nbsp; AZ. I can assist buyer's shipper with loading and send off. We need to have the car removed within 10 days of auction close. All original owner's manuals (etc) are in the glove box. This will be a good deal for the right buyer. We require a $200 non-refundable deposit upon winning. nbsp; via Paypal. The balance is to be paid within 72 hours of auction end.
