This Mercedes 190 SL in 1957 was sold to the first owner in Belgium. Until 1991 stay in Belgium. after it was back to Germany and where had only four owners. The last owner had it since 1994. In 2007 the car was partially dismantled and in such a condition was standing in the garage until September 2013 when I bought it and I organized a professional restoration. I have full documentation to prove it. Car still has German papers. So this is not a car from the USA! This is my private car but everything was restored (body. interior. engine. transmission. differential. Solex carburetors. ) by several professional companies during 2014 with complete documentation in over 3000 pictures. Now. this Mercedes 190 SL is in excellent condition and everything on it is original. Matching Numbers! Body color DB 387 is original (as in the Data Card). only the color of leather was RED and now is changed to TAN. Color of carpet is original blue. Since March 2015 the car was exhibited in the museum Munro-Classic near Salzburg in Austria (www. manro-classic. at). where can be viewed every day between 10:00-18:00h or talk with the owner of the museum Mr. Ing.
