Up for auction is a rare 1959 Mercury Monterey 2 door sedan. I got this because it really attracts attention, ut I have too many other cars and trucks and not enough room. It drives shifts and stops good, t's a big boat to drive no power steering or brakes came on this car in 1959I had it painted eggshell black, he body is pretty good, ery little body work was needed. The front seat has stitches breaking on driver side top.The speedometer was froze up, had it professionally rebuilt and they set the odometer to 0.I replaced the following;new brakesnew radiatornew tiresnew wheel coversnew carpetnew headlinerpoints, lugs, ires etc
