***390 V-8 S CODE ENGINE --- VERY ORIGINAL --- VERY SHARP*** This is a 1968 Mercury Cougar coupe in Sea Foam Green accented by a black vinyl top and Magnum 500 wheels. The car was purchased new by a woman and kept until her death. It was purchased from her family and later purchased by the current owner. We believe this car has 129K miles on it and appears to have been garage kept. The engine is a 6. 5 Liter 390 V-8 "S" code that fires right up and runs great. The transmission is a C6 automatic and the rear end has a 3 to 1 ratio. The car has air conditioning (modern compressor was added sometime in the past). power steering and power disc brakes. The interior is ivy gold with bucket seats. console and floor shifter. We believe most of the interior is original - take a look at the photos. Chrome and trim have some aging but are in great shape and are original. The vinyl top looks like new and we think it must have been replaced at some time in the past. The previous owner added the BF Goodrich tires and Magnum 500 wheels with Cougar caps - not pictured but the original wheels and hub caps are included in the sale of the car.
