Late summer and fall offer the best weather for top-down cruising -- this car is perfect for those on a budget! Plus it has a back seat and a pass-through trunk!
Italian design, azda motor and drive-train, uilt by Ford in Australia - very reliable, xcellent handling and sporty. Have taken this vehicle on many cross-country journeys, he latest being our spring trip through the Virginia's Skyway, lue Ridge Parkway, nd the Smokey Mountain Parkway (Virginia to North Carolina, o Tennessee). Obtained, 3, 7, 7, 7, 3, 3 MPG consecutively! I consistently get 32 MPG, ut will drive 80 MPH on the Interstate.
I have taken good care of this car, nd have complete records, hich include new: valve cover gasket kit, ngine temperature sensor, ynthetic transmission lube; timing belt, ater pump, adiator hoses; all belts, oolant flush, onvertible soft-top, runk shocks, aillight assembly, attery, gnition coil, heel bearings and seals; brakes, otors, alipers and flex hoses; clutch master and slave cylinders; thermostat, eadlight lift motor, hiftier linkage and bushings; all struts, ount kits, nd bellows; trailing arm, omplete muffler system (converter, uffler and connecting pipes; rear wheel bearings.
25 year old car, o not new, ut take a good look and drive it and you will see that it is a fine car! It has a small dent on the front fender (another car door opened on it), nd I've treated (with Extend) and sprayed two areas of rust where the front fenders meet the rocker panel (detailed pictures of each). Airbox set in heat position, o you can direct heat to your legs, n cool nights (purchased this way). Driver seat shows wear.
I change oil every 3 to 4,000 miles and have every change recorded. I just tuned up the car (plugs, ap, otor, lug wires, ir filter) yesterday. Tires are good. Compression is excellent -- never need to add oil between oil changes. My first Capri had 260,000 miles, hen I sold it - these Mazda motors are bulletproof! This is my third Capri, nd am selling it because I just bought my fourth!
