Up for auction is my extra clean 1950 Merc Coupe. I will say it was up for sale last spring, hen I decided to enjoy it another season. Drove a couple thousand miles this year. Cruise nights, ocal shows and a mountain run. Very reliable and fun car.

Body is extra clean and very straight, o obvious body work. Carhas a really nice high gloss red paint job with only tiny imperfections down low from driving. Was obviously wet sanded and buffed when done as it has very little orange peel and highly reflective quality. I hesitate to call it show paint but its really nice. Hood and trunk were frenched. Hood Louvers are awesome.

Frame, loors and chassis are rock solid and rust free. No holes in trunk, pare tire area is rust free. Floors are perfect and un replaced. Car was from the east coast but babied all its life. Prior owner had it 22 yrs.

Interior is extra clean except for seat covers are getting a little sun fade. They are only sewnon covers, nderneath are original upholstered Merc Seats. Not sure of they're condition. Upholstery shop quoted my 650.00 to complete redo the seats in a black high grade cloth vinyl combo. I can have it done or you can choose. Everything inside works including the original AM Radio. Heat, ipers, /C etc all work perfect.

Glass is perfect condition. Wheels are original with NOS 55 Merc caps, ires are BF Goodrich and excellent.

Engine is the Merc Flathead V8, oes not smoke, urn oil or leak. Starts up everytimeand runs right down the road. Stays cool. Has electric fuel pump. Is a 12Volt sytem. Sounds great with dual exhaust.

Vintage A/C is 134 andblows ice cold.

Transis original 3 spd on column with push pull overdrive. Works perfect, hifts smooth. Clutch is excellent with no chatter. Tiny drip at back of trans, 0 cent piece size on floor after a month.

Rear is original and does not make noise.

Suspension is block lowered 2 inches in rear and 1 inch in front. Can easily be broughtback to stock if wanted. Rides great.

Brakes are original drum. Work perfect but are manual drum.

Steering is original style and tight.

All in all you are looking at a close to show quality uncut, nchopped 50 Coupe. The holy grail for customs. Needs nothing to enjoy right away.
