Selling a rare1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible w/ Manual Transmission. This car has only had two previous owners, nd has mostly been garaged. It has the factory drag pack (Mach I) small block 351 Windsor engine with four barrel carb and dual exhaust. It is a factory ordered standard 4 speed manual shift (Hurst Package), hich is rare because XR7's only came with automatic shift after 71. This car is the perfect marriage of luxury with classic muscle: it features power windows, ocks, teering, rakes, nd classic Ford sequential turn signals. It also has the original owner's manual, onvertible boot (not pictured) and trunk/spare tire liner, ear view mirror, hrome carb cover, nd factory Mercury wheel covers. Part of side grill near headlight is cracked, ut a factory replacement is included.Passenger side mirror missing and part of passenger side convertible latch handle is broken. As it stands, he car needs some minor body work, aint, s well as a new gas line and tank and air conditioner refurbishing. Interior seating was reupholstered. Otherwise an excellent restoration candidate for a rare Cougar of its kind.
