This is a rare body style for a Mercury. All major bodywork is completed. only minor work remains to be paint ready. The original gauges. speedometer and clock have been restored and converted to 12 volt. The windshield wipers have been converted to 12 volt. Dash plastic is new. All stainless trim is included. Several of the chrome plated trim pieces have been re-plated. Parking lamps have been restored as have the original hubcaps. All glass is good. New rubber seals for the vent windows and rear quarter windows have been installed. Cat whiskers and other miscellaneous window seals are included. The front chrome wheels are new. The gas tank has been boiled out and painted. the radiator has been rebuilt with a new four row core. the fuel and brake lines are installed. A new high volume electric fuel pump. high capacity fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator have been installed. Car has power steering and power disc brakes. Engine is a 322 cubic inch nailhead Buick. Heads have been ported and polished with larger valves installed. Engine has been balanced. Intake is a rare 6x2 log manifold. Exhaust manifolds are very expensive custom made fender well headers that have been jet hot coated. Distributor is electronic. starter is a new mini high torque unit. Valve covers are stock Buick aluminum covers which have been show chrome plated. Transmission is a 1955 Oldsmobile 4 speed hydramatic mated to the engine via a rare B&M adapter. Transmission has been rebuilt. Driveshaft is new. Rear end is a Dana Model 44 unit with 3. 08:1 gears. Rear end has been rebuilt. Brakes are new. Rear buggy spring has been replaced with parallel leaf springs. Front axle has a 4 inch drop and a disc brake conversion. Wishbones have been split. a new stabilizer bar been installed. Car is currently registered in CA. On Jan-03-15 at 16:19:01 PST. seller added the following information:Additional information added 1-3-2015. Grilles are complete. not broken or bent.
