The engine is a 4. 6 DOHC out of a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII. This motor is fuel injected with a factory fuel pump mounted in the tank. It runs excellent and passes emissions each year no problem. Everything works as it should. The rear suspension was also completely rebuilt and features Air Ride from Air Ride Technologies. The rear is a ford 9" with 3. 89 gears. The body was removed from the chassis and the frame and all of the suspension components were powdercoated in a semi-gloss black. Absolutely no rust in the floor or trunk panels. The underside of this car is very clean. The doors have had bear claw latches installed and can be opened by remote. Door handles. mirrors and several trim pieces were removed to clean up the lines of the car. Brakes at all 4 corners are from Baer with 13" rotors all around. Brakes are manual and work great. Wheels are Intro Pentias. 18 up front and 20 on the rear. Tires are Nitto NT555. The interior consists of the stock seats covered in Ultraleather with ostrich inserts. There is a floral headliner to get people's attention. Dynamat was used under the carpet and in the doors. Budnik billet steering wheel with custom engraved Mercury Man head on the horn button. Custom laser cut Mercury Man head front grill emblem. The trunk is fully upholstered with custom built panels hiding the wiring. air ride tank and compressor and the subwoofer. The stereo is a hidden unit with a 10 disc cd changer. 2 amps. 10" sub and Infinity speakers. The Vintage Air A/C unit blows cold and the controls are hidden in the factory console. Heat works great also. Paint and body on this car are fantastic. You can see in the pictures how straight the body is. This car came from Reno and then California so it had zero rust. There are only a few small rock chips on the front. All of the trim has been straightened and polished. The bumpers were re-chromed. Paint is a two tone featuring 2001 VW Passat colors. Paint is base/clear urethane and has been wet sanded and buffed. Never fails to attract attention and is reliable and fun to drive. Never overheats. Idles with the A/C on and the temp gauge does not move. There is not one area on this car that is not finished nicely. During the build it was COMPLETELY taken apart down to the last nut and bolt. You will not find a nicer car for the money. To have this car built would take approx. $125. 00. 00 - $150. 00. 00. This one is finished and ready to go and have some fun.
