I have had lots of questions about If I will separate them and yes. YOU GET TWO CARS WITH THIS AUCTION!!! First off Thanks for looking at my auction. We have been dealing with Capri's for the last few years and this here is something very special we are offering. TWO MERCURY CAPRI'S A 71 RESTOMOD AND A 73 RESTORED A FEW YEARS AGO. My dad and I have been doing all this as a father/son project and now it's time to go on and do something else. My father was always into Capri's and he wanted to find another one. That's how it all started. LOL. We found a 71 1. 6 L that had been in a heated garage most of it's life and that is the one we took and stripped down to nothing. We replaced everything with NEW parts or Cleaned. Refurbished. painted. or powder coated. Nothing was over looked. Even every nut and bolt was addressed. The under side was painted. the interior of the shell/body was sprayed with rino lining then covered with hush mat and Qpads. The doors. Roof. Floor. fire wall. ect. Pretty much the whole inside of the car was covered in hush mat and Qpads. Now as we put it back together Everything is new. I will start with the 71 (Blue) and list everything I can think of. I know there are capri's that come and go on ebay and I have bought and sold a couple on here but I wanted to be able to offer this because this is a once in a life time deal. These cars are very hard to find and especially one's that have everything working and done correct. 1971 Mercury Capri: (fresh Build just finished a couple months ago) ONLY 576 miles since finished5. 0 mustang V8 bored 30 over makes it a 306 CI motor work and tuning were done at Roush Yates Performance. TOP NOTCH SHOW WINNER QUALITY BUILDNOW ON TO THE 73: I have all the history from day one with this car from the original owner. He had a little booklet that has the miles and every time he filled it up with fuel. every oil change. and all the maintenance Including prices. It is a California car and not sure when it was painted or restored but that was done before I got it. I have had a few Capri's and this one besides our 71 is the best driving car we have had. It can sit for a couple months and fire right up and idle awesome. This car is very solid and no rust at all except for one little spot behind the right rear tire.
