This auction is for a very rare 1986 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Turbo two door sedan. Only 6000 made. There is nothing wrong with this car. It runs great. The 5 speed on the floor transmission shifts good and it drives like a dream. The interior is near flawless and it is hard to believe this car is 29 years old. Everything works. The AC. heater. radio. power windows. defrost. mirror adjustments. door locks and power seats all work like new. The AC has been converted over to the R-134a. The engine is a very rare 2. 3L 140Cu. In. l4 GAS SOHC Turbocharged. I am selling this car because it is too nice to drive down the road. I fear someone may hit it or scratch the car. It is a beautiful grey color and interior leather bucket seats. The interior is a must see to believe near new condition. Even the headliner looks new. It has a new muffler and water pump. There are two very small hard to detect dents. One on passenger side door and the other on trunk towards the bottom. There also is a small stress line fracture near the driver side head lights. (see photo). The tires have about 80% tread remaining. The paint is clear and shiny. NO RUST detected anywhere on the car. Comes with original two sets of keys and original owners manual and manufacture brochure. It is evident that this car has been very well cared for and pampered its whole life.
