The Mercury Cougar was based off of the Mustang, but was intended to be more luxurious and to draw European design queues from the Jaguar E Type.

The XR7 variant was the most luxurious variant and featured a simulated wood-grained dashboard with a full set of black-faced competition instruments and toggle switches, an overhead console, a T-type center automatic transmission shifter and leather-vinyl upholstery.

This Beautiful XR7 features an "EMRON" paint job and has placed in multiple car shows. With an upgraded 302 V8, custom exhaust and mufflers, this cat roars to life and runs strong. Additional features include a new dash, new sequential taillights, luggage rack, Power Steering and an Automatic 3 Speed Transmission.
