1954 Mercury Monterey Convertible Red V8 Frame Off Restoration The Best

CMC is presenting a full Frame Off Restoration that took 4.5 years to complete start to finish! No expenses were spared in making this Mercury the finest Convertible available today.

Options from the Factory include a V8, Merc-0-Matic Automatic Transmission, Power steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Convertible top, Fender skirts.

A no expense spared body off the frame restoration was completed on this fabulous Mercury. The restoration had no short cuts. The original motor, transmission, and rear end was rebuilt. The body was taken of the frame. The frame was stripped and painted. All new components, brakes, lines, etc were installed on the chassis. The body of the car was prepped and the floors were painted red inside and out. Even were you can not see is painted such as under dash board and the floors under the carpets. All the stainless was professional polished. All the original chrome was restored with triple chrome plating. All new Ford etched glass was installed. All new seals and weatherstrips were installed. The interior was expertly redone to original specs. The convertible top is black canvas top with red binding. The car also has a canvas convertible top boot. All of this rides on Radial WWW tires from Coker. This restoration is photo documented and the restoration photos and binder will be included with the sale of this classic. A restoration of this caliber would cost over $100,000.

This rare classic is also documented with the original owners manual, original dealers brochure, Original radio manual, and the mercury owners policy.
