Incredibly rare 1966 Mercury S-55 428 4-speed Q-code 2 door hardtop! Whens the last time you was a big block Merc with a 4-on the floor? This car has had a driver level restoration done approx 8 years ago. The engine runs well. The transmission shifts right and brakes stops nice. The interior has been redone with some custom touches. Carpeted trunk, Flowmaster dual exhaust system. American racing Torq-Thurst wheels, new Holley carburetor, recent tune up with Pertronix conversion, factory Working Am/FM radio. The frame rails are absolutely rock solid (these cars are known for rusty frames) The floors are solid as well. I can see a small patch in the bottom on 1 quarter panel and the rear wheel lips have been rolled for tire clearance. We would call this car a 25 footer from that distance it look perfect but as you get closer some flaws in the paint and trim will start to become evident.Why pay buyers premium at an auction when you can buy direct!Do not assume anything.
