Thank you for looking at my 1962 Mercury Comet Custom 4 door sedan for sale. The fender skirts KILL IT RIGHT?This car was my daily driver for almost 8 years...we bought her in October 2012 with 44k miles.Since 2020 she has been largely ignored, which led to her beautiful figure being riddled by unwanted rust...She needs someone to love her, bring her back to a sexy, commanding little beeyawtch and make her a star again!She's been ridden hard and put away wet, don't judge....but she is ready to shine again for some lucky little devil!! She has a manual transmission, 3 on the tree, and comes with TONS of extra parts. She needs brakes, but she does fire up...Possibly needs the carb rebuilt. We had our mechanic in town regularly working on her until 2020. She was rewired at some point during our 10 years of owning her. Passenger side floor was welded with new metal at one point also, years ago. She has reupholstered red leather interior from the previous owner that is faded, but still in pretty good condition and cleans up rad. This car was wired with a removable stereo cabinet, USB plug, etc, but that has since been removed....That internal wiring still exists though.There are rust spots on MULTIPLE areas of the exterior and the interior as shown in photos.This car is pretty complete as far as trim goes, minus one letter on the hood. I have the "U" but not the "C".Extra parts include:1. Pair of extremely rare 1962 Mercury Comet hood ornaments, plus the extra one that broke off the right side of the hood.2.
