1965 Mercury Comet Caliente Convertible.
Whether it is Santa's Sleigh during the winter months, a Sunday cruiser in spring or summer or a daily driver year round, this rare 1965 Mercury Comet Caliente Convertible should be in your garage to enjoy for years to come.
Prior owner was the proud owner for 35 years. He reports the motor is a rebuilt 289 V8 from a 1966 Mustang with less than 5,000 miles. Original 3 speed automatic transmission also rebuilt within the past 5,000 miles. Convertible top is in excellent condition. Interior carpet, mats and vinyl bucket and bench covers, all brand new. New seat cushions in the bucket seats as well, for a comfy ride no matter how far. New patches welded into three of the floor pans after rust was eradicated. Everything works as it should except for the horn, the radio and the back windows don't roll up all the way.
