Genuine buyers welcome, time wasters not so much.This vehicle is serial number 141 of the 186 Convertibles built by Mercury in 1985, the vehicles were only produced for three (3)Year, 1984,1985,1986 by Mercury and ASC McLaren, so not a car you will see at every car show or drive in that you attend. The mileage is showing on the odometer as 13499, but it is only a 5 figure odometer, so it will be sold, as Mileage Exempt, due to age of vehicle, as required by Florida law.The vehicle is a two seater, rear seats removed by ASC to make a stowage space for the roof when down. The roof is in good condition.The engine is the Ford 301 V8 starts, runs nicely.The transmission is the Ford AOD, Ford Automatic Overdrive, shifts and drives fine.It has always been a Florida car, so no rust apparent, and I am the third (3) owner.Repainted 2 years ag, due to paint peeling from sun damage, seats were reupholstered at the same time.There is no record or evidence of being damaged in any accidents.I do not have the Ebay APP, so if you wish to contact me use the contact seller on the Add.The roof is not powered.The seats were powered, but a previous owner cut all the cables and removed the motors, I do not know why.It has Air Conditioning, believe it works, never use it. These cars were built by Ford on the same assembly lines as the Fox Body Mustangs, before being removed from line and shipped to Mercury and ASC McLaren for the transformation.
