1966 Mercury Cyclone. speed Cyclone GT. omet. 90 big block Vehicle Description RARE MAROON METALLIC CYCLONE GT 390 BIG BLOCK CAR. (S-CODE) 4-SPEED. EXTREMELY WELL PRESERVED TIME BUBBLE CAR!!! Rare meticulously maintained 1966 Mercury Comet Cyclone GT with the correct S code 390 (335 h. p. ) and 4-speed transmission. The car is all muscle car a 4 speed to control the horse power and no PS or PB to take away from the power. This seldom seen muscle car was purchased from a Ford and Mercury collector who lovingly cosmetically restored and maintained it to a very high level. The car appears to be restored. but it never needed it. According the the previous owner he is admit that it is 81. 00 actual miles and based on the condition we would have to agree. This blue chip stock car is a correct X code Metallic Maroon car that has had a show quality repaint that has a deep mirror finish. The actual color used for the repaint was Dark canyon Red which had a slightly deeper shade. This Cyclone has won many trophies and countless "Best of Show" awards. The chrome bumpers. grille. trim and emblems are in show quality condition. Under the rare factory fiberglass GT hood rests the correct 390 4 bbl. engine that runs strong and looks showroom new. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts gears to the stock rear with 3. 25 to 1 gears. The factory bucket seats and console interior is in amazing condition as you can see by the pictures. The stock radio has been replaced with a new am-fm cassette Classic stereo. The undercarriage is rock solid clean beautiful and intact with crisp seams and pinchwelds.
