THIS CAR IS NOT NOT NOT AN AUTOMATIC. IT IS A FIVE SPEED. 1991 MERCURY CAPRI CONVERTIBLE NICE NICE CAR!!! This car is owned by a doctor and I have two of these. THIS IS A GREAT LITTLE CAR AND GREAT ON GASOLINE AS IT IS A FIVE SPEED. It has a new clutch last year before winter. got the car in florida and only the smallest amount of rust undet the drivers fender starting. but hardly noticeable. I put new tires with 85% tread life. new brakes front with rotors last year. not driven last two winters but stored. New battery. New water pump. radiator. and air conditioner redone. New top three years ago that is black. I have new seat covers I will now install that are white and black to match car better. The decals are high quality but can come off if one wants. I have new spark plugs and wires last year. The shifter shifts smooth and with the car in fourth or fifth gear it can rattle a little. usually this can be adjusted and then it will stop for a while. The drivers haedlight has a tendency to stick and took it in and it can be adjusted with the wheel under the hood and will go up. but then down all the way. . then it will now go down quite all the way. so i am including a new working headlight motor for this headlight that can easily be installed. i just paid $69. 99 plus shipping to get it. It is easy to install and is guaranteed to work fine I just will not do it for now. I leave the headlights up and shut off the lights when parked. that looks awesome to just leave the lights in the up position. The car get between 27 and 30 miles per gallon. nice little car. recommended for someone who knows how to drive five speed only. questions e-mail. The dash has no cracks. it is in fantastic shape! note: there is a small tear in the drivers seat. very small and the seat covers on it look custom and cover the small tear nicely.
