Description for MG MGB 1970

1970 MGB - Red exterior with Black Interior and Top and Wire Knock-Offs. Overall a very nice AND reliable driver. I have owned it a few years and it has never left me stranded. I have not previously owned an MGB, o I cannot say how "original" the cars appearance is. The previous owner, or example told me he changed the grille to what is currently there. It runs and drives fine and everything works with exception of windshield washers (which are not hooked up, nd I never bothered either). Standard model I believe, speed with NO overdrive. Body and Interior good as is the motor and trans. Tires are fairly new and in good shape including the spare. Car also upgraded to electronic ignition by previous owner.
From what I have been told (advised/educated) it has some of the "typical rust issues" found on these cars. There is some rust showing on passenger front fender (see close up pic) and the rear corner (again see close up pic). Just had recent tune-up and carbs adjusted, pent about $800.00 on brakes and a new wheel hub, otally lubricated and some other little things.
Original miles at: 88,345. The dash has a replacement pad over top. Convertible top is pretty nice with one little hole (I rarely had it up), eats are nice with no big tears or rips and the padding is still nice. Chrome is good, ut there is some pitting (see close up pic of front bumper). Starts right up, ngine is good with good oil pressure and no bad sounds or noises. (next thing I was planning to do was replace the exhaust system - it is okay and not leaking, ut just could be updated)*(have extra set of doors and trunk lid that can go with the car pending sale price).
PLEASE NOTE: the Photos make the car look darn near flawless, gain, his little MGB is NOT a SHOW CAR.It is a NICE "driver grade" car that I have enjoyed a lot!If nearby feel free to check it out and drive it. A $500.00 "Deposit" within 2 days with balance due at pick-up or other arrangements (considered).
Questions or more details shoot me a message. Car is also for sale locally, o I reserve the right to end the auction early. Bidders with "Positive feedback rating" only. Winning bidder will need to Pick Up or arrange/pay for transport. Only for sale in the USA - lower 48.

Additional: installed new Alternator and Battery (last year). New throttle cable was put in start of season. Have convertible top cover (black) as well in good shape but some of the snaps not working. There is no radio (but prior owner said it did have one originally - I do not have it),

About the paint; this is NOT the original color - car was Blue and painted Red by former owner. I would say it was a "Mid=Grade} paint job and looks really good still, oes shine up very nice but has signs of age and being on the road.
