Description for MG MGB 1971
This car was built as a clone/tribute car to the factory MG works cars that raced at Sebring. It is NOT a legal race car nor is it a highly restored car. It is intended to look like a car that was raced, arked for a lot of years, leaned up/rebuilt engine etc. to make a driver. This is a fun local car show type of vehicle/driver. I want the buyer to be happy with this car and will answer any and all questions as accurately possible. Period correct/imitated on the car include items such as leather hood strap Sebring style mesh grill as per the factory car. Fiberglass "Sebring" kit includes complete front fenders, ear fender overlays, ront and rear valences. Rocker panels are covered with aluminum. Has lighted roundels (number dots), riving lights, ebring style plastic headlight covers.I have a clear Utah title in my name (and possession) and it is street legal (lights, urn signals, uffler, tc.) It has been registered, nbsp;licensed and driven on the street for several years. It was driven to Las Vegas from Salt Lake and return to attend SEMA a couple of years ago. It was used in a photo shoot for a European clothing catalog (Bonaparte) which are the photos of the models in front of my car. I lost interest and haven't driven regularly for about 2 years. Engine rebuilt — crank turned, ngine bored, ew bearings pistons and rings. Head rebuilt, otter cam and headers. Twin SU carbs rebuilt. Has an 8 gallon fuel cell. Custom built seats. This is/was the best running and driving car in my collection. A fake roll bar was installed for a car show and it looked so good I just left it in. Has 3 inch lap belts. A professional video of me and my collection (and the GT) can be seen by googling "Gisseman British Mania"
VERY IMPORTANT: This is an MGB NOT an MGC. It is not a legal race car and is definitely not a highly restored car. Please ask any and all questions before bidding and request any photos of specific areas of the car. I will be adding more photos. I will answer all questions and try to provide the photo(s) you need/request. I have had a lot of fun with this one but it needs a new owner. Thanks for checking out my car.
