Description for MG MGB 1973

Offered here for your inspection and consideration is a 1973 MGB GT. This has been an Arizona car as far back as we can trace it and has been with the same adult owner for 24 years.

This "B" GT is finished in Bright Silver Metallic with a black vinyl and cloth interior and fitted grey carpet, hroughout. It is equipped with the Laycock de Normanville electric overdrive and rolls on pana sport alloy wheels with new tires. The body is straight, etains the alloy bonnet and the undercarriage shows no signs of rust or rust repair.

This GT has always been maintained as an occasional weekend driver and displays excellent road manners. A pair of 69 MGB, SU carburetor were installed to increase performance and make emissions adjustments easier. The engine was rebuilt not that long ago by a local British car expert. More recent service includes, tarter replacement, verhaul distributor, ebuilt front shock absorbers, ngine mounts, rake hydraulics, nd much more. The headlamps are Bosch with high wattage bulbs.

The buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance. Buyer to forward 10% of the total sales price within 3 days of auction close and the balance, n certified funds, ithin 10 days of close of auction. The car may remain in its present secure storage facility for an additional 30 days while the buyer makes travel and shipping arrangements.
