Hello MG TD Collectors. ere is a 1 owner. doctor owned 1955 MG TD in excellent order. I have not tried starting it. but the condition is excellent. everything is there. and the sellers said the car was running the last time it was parked. I may have my buddy who is an excellent mechanic get it in running order. but will incur money and probably raise my reserve if I do. The first pic with the guy (guy is on my demo crew!) in the car. and top down. you can see the soap water I sprayed on the fender before the car was wiped down. The MG TD is known as the first American Sports car. imported from Morris Motors of England. Soldiers returned from WW's took a liking to the TD because it was cheap. fun. and easy to maintain. The MG TD's are highly collectible. but I guess if you're here you know that already. I bought the car as part of a real estate acquisition. it was owned by a prominent doctor who willed it to his children- then sold to me. I put air in the tires. and rolled it outside for the first time in at least 17 years. the time the home I bought belonging to the doctor had been uninhabited. You can see the bags of trash from the demolition of the kitchen and bathrooms already underway at the home. This is a treasure I invite you to come inspect. I just closed on the home Monday. and took these pictures Friday. December 12. I pushed the car out. and wiped it down. thats it.
