1957 MGA. Premier Body-Off Restoration

Description for MG MGA 1957

This car was restored by the premier British Car shop in Oregon. It is a body off restoration with modifications to make the car more powerful and fun to drive. This is NOT a numbers matching car. The body, rame and tub came from different cars and the engine is a 5 main bearing B motor. This car is fast and really fun to drive. I am a big man- >6" >220# and the cockpit is comfortable for me. The overall build philosophy was to do only those things that aknowledgeableMG owner would do to enhance and improve the car. The primary visible difference is a custom roll bar that is removable. The list of things that were done to the car consists of 6 pages of single spaced type but here is a list of the high points;
