Description for MG MGB 1964

This is a great project that when it is finished will be worth a lot of money. The pull handle cars with the steel dash are the most sought after MGB roadsters of all. This is a solid California Car with very little body work needed. The usual reinforcing to the doors is needed on the upper door skins; a little on the rocker on one side toward the rear (the dog leg seems solid but they are easy and cheap to do) and the floors just need a little clean up of surface rust and small hole patching. I cannot get this car up in the air for better pictures but it is very solid. Wrong grille fitted, know, ut it fills the hole and looks nice. You could make this car run and drive in a couple days work and triple your money or just enjoy the heck out of it!The engine is a completely rebuilt engine which we ran a couple years ago then "borrowed" a few bits here and there for another B GT project now done and when we circled back to start on this I just ran out of steam and space. It has everything you need to have it running with a half day of effort. It has a brand new aluminum radiator, ew water pump, ood carbs, istributor etc. It will need some of the gauges replaced or repaired (tach is good) and the dash rewired which is really easy on these cars. Hydraulics probably need going through; new clutch fitted. Yes that is the original British Motor Corporation Radio. Not tested but it looks great. The speaker box is included, s is a spare wire wheel, ot shown as well as many other parts for a mostly complete package. Non overdrive gearbox in good condition. Four decent chrome wire wheels with good tires. No rust in the battery boxes; still set up for dual 6V but easy to use one 12V. Convertible top frame and spare wheel included but not shown.
