Hello Ebay Motors,
This auction is for a totally, riginal & unmolested 1962 MG MGA 1600 Mark II
Odometer reads 98000 and it is possible that is correct.
This car was driven to Marathon, exas in around 1982 and parked in a garage across the street from my house.
I bought my house in Marathon in 2006 and didn't find this car until 2010.
I made a deal and pulled it out of the garage, rained the tank and filled it up with new fuel, ew battery and it started
after three tries.
No brakes or clutch but it ran.
After a new master cylinder, rakes and clutch slave I was on the road.
Engine was rebuilt by a real MGA mechanic in 1990 and now it flies.
This is the last year of production and is the MGA 1600 Mark II.
I like to find a car like this in this condition and have been driving it as it was found.
If you want on to restore this is the right place to start.
As a loose guide to value I want to NADA classic car guide.
I was quite surprised at their estimates of value but I value this one between low and average retail.
