Description for MG Midget 1964

The car being offered is a 1964 MG Midget Mk2. This car has had one lady owner from new until I bought it about 4 years ago. She drove the car regularly until she got sick, about ten years ago, and eventually passed away. After that the car sat in the garage until her husband passed away, which is when I bought it. The car was not running at that point, so I set about bringing it back to life. This involved fitting a new fuel tank, fuel pump. and re-building the carburettors. I also fitted a new brake and clutch master cylinder, and new brake hoses, and new tires. The car had minor accident damage to the left front fender, so I replaced it with a good used fender. There is no signs of any other accidental damage to the body, and the car is super straight, and dry California car. The car now runs and drives very well, and all the instruments and electrical equipment are in working order. The carpets were in very poor shape, so I removed them to reveal perfect floors. The seats need re-covering, and the convertible top is in pretty poor shape. I am reluctantly selling this ca due to changed personal circumstances, and I hope to find an appreciative owner for this lovely old MG. the car is being sold strictly as is, where is, and carries no guarantee whatsoever neither expressed nor implied.
