Description for MG T-Series 1948
I can add photos later. I am out of state right now and had a fancy to post this which in a way is very sad; yet, it's time for someone else to enjoy "the little car" as we did.It was Daddy's joy, and I remember going all over San Francisco looking for one with him.
I will have to look at the mileage and more when I return to Ohio.
I have the papers in Ohio also, so I need to look it all up. I'm simply posting it now to get it out there and get a feel for the prices although I have seen some very hefty sums online.
This was a beauty, and we enjoyed driving it locally in California and Ohio. Everything about it was perfect, and it needs a lot of work now for several reasons: 1. Daddy put it on blocks several years ago, and it will need to be restored to run again; 2. It was always white, but Daddy painted it, because he enjoyed that, and he deserved to do what he enjoyed!; 3. Workers were in the house when I was not there, and suddenly, as you can see, a windshield wiper is broken ... and both front windshields are gone (the regular and the racing); yet, I'm not 100% certain they aren't there somewhere. I will have to look when I return in 4 weeks.
I lost both my parents - my entire world - within a year of each other, had my spine cracked 48 - 50 degrees the next year, the house in Ohio flooded while Mother was down South in my care as she was dying ... and so much more. My parents gave me a wonderful life, but left no life insurance which is why I will sell a few things in order to honor our home and do repairs Daddy did every day of his elder life until the night he passed away at the age of 82 ... the night my world ended too, so ...
I think he would want me to sell the MG not only to help me, but to have another family enjoy it as much as we did.
Thanks for looking.
