Description for MG MGB 1963

This fun little cruiser is equipped with the much sought after pull handles, knock off wire spoked wheels, the rare rear seat option, fold away top and chrome bumpers. It runs excellently but is cold starting. It has no side mirrors because I had not decided if I would rather mount them on the fenders or on the side. It had an amateur restoration done in the early 90’s by the one we bought it from. He said the motor had been rebuilt and anything it needed at that time was done. He then put about 25,000 miles on it. The third seat option he put in because they had a small child. The seats are not original to the car for that year. I believe they were out of an early 70’s MG. They are comfortable. The interior is excellent except for a spot on the carpet near the shifter, see pics. The top is in great condition. It does have a chip in the windshield on the passenger side. The paint does have some flaws, chips, please see pics. Between the fender well and the doors there was body work done but the trunk and the floors are almost perfect. I do have the original boot for covering the seats when the top is off but it will not work on these seats because they sit higher. The mileage on the car is over 18,000. It probably has 118,000 on it. As the car had sat for 6 or 7 years before I got it, I put in a new fuel pump, fuel filter, battery, plugs, plug wires, new front brake pads, calipers and hoses. This is an original 4 speed car as far as I know. The bright lights and the radio do not work. There is a knock off hammer, spare tire and jack are included. The tires are very nice.
