This MG Midget is an older restoration. but it still looks great!LOW RESERVE. This is a "jump in and enjoy" MG Midget. The body is solid. straight and nice. The paint does have a few paint chips. but still looks nice enough to show. The doors shut and latch nicely. The convertible top and top boot are in great condition. The tires have lots of tread left on them. The carpet. door panels and seats are nice too. There are covers on the seat bottoms to cover a rip in the lower portion of the drivers seat. The dash is in great shape. the windows roll up and down easily. the gauges. lights and stereo (in the glove box) all work. There are a set of vintage Fog lights up front too. There were lots of new parts installed on the car when it was restored. including rear leaf springs and hangers. four shocks. A arms. sway bar. bushings. coils. gas tank. steering wheel. stereo system. carpet kit. and much of the items listed above. The previous owner stated that the 1275 cc engine was professionally rebuilt. It does appear to have been opened up and there are many new parts under the hood. The engine starts right up and sounds strong. No engine smoking whatsoever and no knocking or valve tapping. plus almost 80 lbs oil pressure. The clutch works well and the transmission shifts through the gears easily. The brakes have been adjusted and stop the Midget well. Also. the car drives down the road without a rattle. this Midget is very fun to drive. The floors. inner panels. fender wells. and rocker panels are nice and solid. No sign of accidents from inside the trunk or engine bay. The round rear wheel arches and chrome bumpers make the 1973 & 1974 Midgets very sought after. Someone has spent a great amount of time and money to restore this car. Now it just needs a new home. Drop the top. jump in the drivers seat. plug your IPhone into the stereo. and drive. just for fun! This Midget located in Mesa Az. has a clear Arizona (box c) title.
