Description for MG MGB 1967

I am selling my 67' MGB
The title is clear and the car runs great.
I bought this MG in 2011, and initially did some work on the car; this included among other things: installing new shocks, new suspensions, new tires, new starter, new coil, new oil lines, new spark plugs and wires, new generator, new flywheel, new tires, new transmission mounts, new water pump, new horns, pulling, sanding, priming and repainting the dashboard, having the carburetors professionally rebuilt, as well as the dashboard gauges (by Morris in California). Moss Motors and Victoria British were my favorite shopping spots. I enjoyed the car as my daily driver for about 3 years, and then relocated to Charlotte in 2014.
I left the MG behind in Aberdeen, NC, where it received a major restoration (mostly) of the engine, professionally done by Paul Johnson at Octagon Restoration - this included among other things an overhaul of the engine, which was rebored, and fitted with new valves, pistons, camshaft, etc...the distributor was rebuilt by Jeff Schlemmer at Advanced Distributors, the exhaust was replaced with a new Tourist Trophy one, all 4 wheel hubs and rear axle were replaced, the gas tank is brand new, the brake pads are new, brake lines were flushed (invoices available). The engine is basically 100% new with the exception of the original block. I have put approximately 300 miles on the car since the rebuilt, and the car is back in Charlotte, NC.
I recently had a baby and my priorities have changed, so it is time for my 67' B to find a new home. Things that may require some attention in the future are: 2 new floor panels (the one on the driver side is particularly bad), and a new interior afterwards, new wheels, and correct a few spots were rust is showing. The car runs great, has a lot of power, and is fun to drive, especially uphill. The color is original.
If you are seriously interested, or have any questions, please let me know.
Deposit due within 48 hrs of auction end, balance due within 7 days of auction end, via certified bank check only - LOCAL PICK UP ONLY (I will not ship the car).
