MG car company entered a new era for automobiles. presenting the world with a sports car that was incredibly well-balanced. light. and nimble. and which had performance and handling eons beyond the T-series cars that preceded them. This particular 1958 MGA is a great car for a top-to-bottom restoration! We pulled this MGA out of a barn where it had been on a shelf since the 1980's warm and dry for more than 30 years. and completely intact. While it will need the love and care of a start-to-finish restoration. it has the original black leather interior and all of its necessary parts all the trim pieces are present and accounted for and the glass is in great shape. especially the rear coupe windows. While the frame may need to be patched. it is in solid starting condition and is definitely salvageable. To get the most out of this MGA. we recommend that the transmission and motor undergo a thorough rebuild. and we are happy to have our mechanics advise and assist in that process. Although the paint may need to be redone and the wheels would benefit from being refinished. the car comes with a complete set of wire wheels and the paint is complete as it sits. Taken as a whole. this is a fantastic opportunity to get started on an MGA project it is the kind of project car that you can really make your own. and get exactly what you want out of the final product.
