Description for MG MGB 1973

SPECIAL SALE!!!!
1973 MGB Convertible with overdrive
This is a very, very nice MGB. Not a show car, but a driver. It is solid, dependable, and runs and drives really well. All the suspension components have been redone/refurbished; the engine and OVERDRIVE transmission have been redone; everything about this car is rock solid. It is a really great car. You can drive it home!
The interior has been redone correctly except for the center console, but that looks good as well. Note the custom shift lever - the previous owner changed out the boring straight up MGB shift lever to this very cool backward facing sporty shift lever. It is directly connected to the smooth shifting(both up and down) overdrive transmission. The overdrive lever is correctly on the column and it functions perfectly. Drive this car at 70 using the overdrive and cruise in comfort!
The seats are nice and comfortable cloth, much better than vinyl. All the lights and gages work; no funny electrical issues. It just purrs along and is truly a pleasure to drive. Its got a few bumps and dings; the chrome looks good from 20 feet but up close you can see its showing some age. You could easily restore this to a perfect 100 point car, but why? Drive it for years to come and just enjoy being in a classic British sports car. Put the top down or unzip the rear window and enjoy!
We did a compression test and all four cylinders are between 125 and 130.
The tires are just a couple of years old and have lots of tread. The spare is in excellent shape. It comes with a knock off hammer and a good working jack. I have a clear and clean title. This car has a very nice dark silver color with just a hint of metal flake on it; originally it was green. It has a quality paint job that still looks good. The picture of the wood fence was taken through the rear window - its nice and clear. This car is really in really great shape.
The oil radiator has been removed; its typically not needed even in the hot Texas summers, but i am including it in the sale if you want to put it back. There is also an additional oil filter that you can see in the engine compartment pictures. That thing really works and helps prolong the time between oil changes. And a very nice working radio should you be so inclined. The face is removable so you don't have to worry about it being stolen.
I have tried to fully document the car; feel free to ask questions.
