Description for MG T-Series 1954
This is a well taken care of original California MG TF that runs and drives superbly. I have documentation and receipts going back to the previous owner (an attorney) who purchased this in 1973 from a BMW dealership in the Bay area. It's a solid and tight example that was not abused and it shows well externally and it's mechanically sound. The engine fires up immediately with good oil pressure, the transmission shifts smoothly while going through the gears and it stops well without pulling off to the side. The chrome wire wheels are beautiful and appear to be in excellent condition. I don't think it would be possible to find a more original and well taken care of MG TF, this is truly a survivor from here in southern California. This is not a put together junk vehicle, it's a well preserved original MG which still has its original and early black California license plates and pink slip. I am available to show and drive this MG for an inspection with an appointment before the end of the auction. The reserve is set low and a bargain from what I've seen offered.I will release the title and vehicle once the funds have cleared, payment should be cash, cashiers check or wire transfer and payment must be received in three days.On Dec-04-18 at 16:24:49 PST, seller added the following information:
I have receipts showing that the engine was rebuilt and it's only been driven 3000 miles since then. The soft top is in great condition and it has matching side curtains. I will attempt to add pictures of those tomorrow.
