Description for MG MGB 1976

Found in the Antique Vintage Collectibles garage, is a 1976 MGB Convertible, up for auction, with a clean title. The car has been registered in Florida as an antique car. The car came off the assembly line in November of 1976. This 43 year old sports car runs good. The engine has 4 cylinders and the transmission is a 4 speed manual. This is not a show car.

New parts include, battery, horn, dashcap, visors, electronic ignition, fuel pump (not su),radiator, radiator fan switch, thermostat, blank radio plate, sending unit water temp, hazard switch, hoses, oil & filter, spark plugs & wires, new ignition lock and keys, clutch resevoir, Spain manufactured Weber Carburetor and new intake manifold, steering wheel, seat covers (not original) and tires, heater valve, fuel pump, antenna, ground cable and vacuum hoses. Spare tire (donut) and parts in the trunk are included. New oil filter as well as a new 5 qt of gtx oil. Lights and directionals work, horn is new but not wired as of yet. The seats are extremely comfortable.Directional lights, brake lights, headlights all work. Driver's side door has scratch, Dashboard has cracks that is why dashcap was purchased. One of the chrome rings that go around the drivers side rear wheel has a small dent.

Mileage is unknown because of the 5 digit odometer. When gas tank is full, the gas gauge reads half full. The car is going need a respray and bodywork at some point. Some rust found under the sill on the drivers side, and closer to the fender, and some surface rust, stone chips elsewhere. Small hole near well under driver seat. The tiny front spoiler under the rubber bumper has a dent. The rear bumper has a small dent. The convertible top has a tear in the plastic side window part. It seems like the original convertible top. The windshield motor runs slowly. Needs new windshield rubber seals and side small window rubber seals. A new dashboard fan switch is needed (included in parts box). No stereo, as well as the speakers, are not available. Also there is no jack or tire iron. A box of used parts (4 shop manuals, one headlamp, 2 gasgets, one interior fan switch, misc bits) will be included including the two original head rests. I will also include a new car cover.

The car is extremely fun to drive. Starts right up. This would make a great restoration project.
