Description for MG MGB 1980
Stunning original survivor 1980 MGB limited Edition. This was the final edition of the last year for the iconic MGB. It has been lovingly cared for every day of its 2 owner history. Completely original. Never restored and in remarkable condition. To look at it you would swear it has been professionally restored. It runs and drives beautifully and I would not hesitate to drive it any distance. It includes The newer soft top seen on the photos. The boot cover for the top when it is down and the full cockpit cover that zips up the middle. All original to the car and in excellent t condition. Every receipt and record including mileage log for the past 30 years are included. A truly rare Combination of originality and perfect maintenance history on an exquisite car. No rust ever. No accident history. The only items not original beside the for mentioned hood are the very well done professionally installed twin SU carbs. The original carbs on these were a single the left it under powered. This set up is a classic correct remedy to add a bit of smooth British power. Also the radio was replaced at some point to the unit seen in the photos which provides nice clear sound.
A great classic you can show, drive, and travel in. Never any rust or damage. The only paint work is the hood due to stone chips years ago. The engine is highly detailed and polished as the owner was very active in showing this car and going to MG events. Please take time to look over the photos and have the car inspected or call and ask questions prior to bidding. The reserve is very low and fully expect it to sell to the highest bidder. I have sold many classic cars on eBay and have a perfect feedback history. I would gladly buy back any the cars I sold. Every one of them went to a happy new owner at a very fair below market price. This MG will be no exception.I require a $500 Non refundable deposit as soon as the auction has ended. I request the winner please call me within 24 hours after winning to review payment and shipping or pick up details. To ask questions or set up inspections please call614-352-3434. Jeff
