Description for MG MGB 1972

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS. is this nice MGB Roadster in a pleasant original color scheme. This car was recently purchased from it's seller in North Carolina that just wasn't using it enough. This car is finished in it's factory color combination. It's a very solid, good driving car that needs little to make it superb. The body and paintwork on this car are very good. The bodywork presents nice and straight with decent gaps. Paintwork appears to be a single, very decent, "factory" quality finish in the original color of Harvest Gold. Brightwork all around the car is excellent, from the bumpers to light lenses, as well as the anodized windshield frame. The tinted windshield glass is in great shape. The car's interior is nice but could use some easy seat bottom repair. The padded dashboard is original and is extremely well-preserved, one of the best originals we've seen. Navy blue carpets are in good shape and still have nice color to them. The door panels are original and are showing some typical signs of light warpage. The car is fitted with a custom dark blue cloth soft top with matching cloth top boot, both in very good shape. The seats are comfortable but have broken in and are "relaxed" at this point. You sit low in the car, so it's time the lower squabs could need some attention...The Motolita steering wheel is a lovely touch.Mechanically, the car is in good condition. The engine starts and revs well with it's new Weber carb fitted. It has good oil pressure and pulls well along the road with a healthy exhaust note. The clutch and brakes feel normal. the gearbox is a delight to use in any gear. The car is definitely due for a set of shock absorber on all four corners. The exhaust pipe is rubbing somewhere underneath- an easy fix. Overall, the car drives well and feels safe and confident, making all of the right noises and is pleasant to drive. PLEASE SEE DRIVING VIDEO.The car's engine compartment is remarkably clean and well-detailed. Underneath, the car's body and floors appears solid and rustfree. This MGB Roadster offered for sale here is in very good overall condition in it's interesting and rare original color scheme. It's a nice driving, well preserved B and is ready to provide some fun, weekend, top-down driving.
