Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this nice 1968 MGB Mk2 Roadster finished in it's original color scheme of Mineral blue with black trim with wire wheels. This car was just sourced from it's seller in the Midwest, but lived most of it's earlier life in California. As a result, the car's body and chassis is beautifully well-preserved and rustfree. The car received a cosmetic freshening on what appears to be a very honest and original 99k mile car.The body and paint on this car are in very good condition all around. Paintwork appears fairly newer and glossy in the correct shade of blue. Panelwork looks very straight with decent gapping to the doors, hood, and trunk. Chromework is a nice mixture of newer chrome and very good to excellent originals. The car still retains it's original Triplex windshield glass.The car's interior looks great and has received comfortable recently retrimmed seats in beautiful leather kits, newer carpets and door seals. The original "pillow top" dashboard looks really excellent and crack-free, along with a lovely original style steering wheel and horn push center, center console, etc. There is a small repairable tear on the lower driver's door panel. The nice condition black soft top fits very well along with it's factory black top boot.The car's very original engine compartment is the factory mineral blue paintwork in decent shape. It's been steam cleaned and is very clean, but could use an easy light detailing overall. Fun, enjoyable stuff for the weekends...Mechanically, the car runs and drives very well with no apparent issues. It's a healthy and robust drivetrain with good brakes, clutch, suspension, newer exhaust system, nice tires. PLEASE SEE VIDEO.This car includes it's original lifting jack in the bag, owner's manual, tonneau stirrups, original black top boot, knock-off hammer and tool.Overall, a lovely rustfree and well-preserved MGB that's received newer paint and interior trim.
