Here is a 1938 MG TA Tickford project for sale. Tickford body number 4113. Chassis number TA 2636. Original engine 2885 has been replaced with engine 1891 this engine change is noted in a copy of the UK log book dated Aug 1966. Only 260 TA Tickford were built and they command $100k when restored. The engine turns over by hand and the wood frame seems to be in very good shape, as it has lived in Southern California for several decades. It missing some parts, the convertible top, interior door panels and door wood. The tachometer is also missing and running boards. I do have the rear seat which I forgot to take a picture of. I was going to restore the car but I have too many projects so reluctantly I am considering putting her up for sale. Car is located in Los Angeles CA USA. Inspections welcome.
