This is a rebid as the high bidder has disappeared. His bid was $2745. Am starting this bidding lower than the second low bid to invite more interest. This Mk 1 Mini drove across the USA and Mexico before coming to rest behind a barn in Maine. Pulled from the mud in 2004 with 123,500 miles, t has been in barn storage since. Its owner started a restoration around 1990 but didn't complete it, erhaps because he was 85 at the time. It features Red over red with ash wood strips, ull of Mk 1 standard features (Exposed door hinges, liding side windows, val speedometer surround (this alone might be worth the price of the car)), enuine British Leyland NOS floor boards, ack welded in place, eparate NOS front fenders, ne of which comes pre-dented, ood glass all around, ood vinyl covered seats, ntact name plates, ots of rust on the bottom 6 inches, nknown engine and transmission condition, o brake drums, s they had to be sacrificed to allow the car to roll out of the mud. Sold in "as is" condition. Needs work. Car comes with Bill of Sale, s titles are not issued in Maine for cars this old.
