This is a very clean rust free 1990 Rover Mini from the Japanese market that was imported to the US last year. This car has spent all of its life in a garage and it shows. Only 11,000 kilometers on the odometer, import documents validate the mileage. This Mini runs and drives very well with new Yokohama tires that were installed prior to arriving in the States last year. It has been recently serviced and the 998cc single carb engine is in excellent running condition. This Mini hums along easily at freeway speeds and keeps up with modern traffic. As most Japanese Minis this one has air conditioning, but likely needs a re-charge to function.
The body is rust free to include all of the typical areas in the seams, where these cars tend to rust. Paint is in excellent condition but has some very minor scratches, one on the driver door and one on the hood. There is a ding on the right rear quarter panel smaller than your finger nail. This Mini would benefit from new suspension cones as the originals have lost their elasticity making for a sporty but slightly bumpy ride.This is a great car that is very fun to drive and brings a smile to the faces of all who see it. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner more original example that this.
