I have owned this car for 25 years, aving first bought it brand new in July 1991 from a Mitsubishi dealer here in Columbus Ohio Through all of that time, he car has been garaged and running. Most of the miles were put on the odometer as a result of daily highway commuting(30 miles/day) until about 2002 but as our young family grew it was used much less as it wasn't at allpractical for moving our kids and their stuff around. About 5 years ago I decided to give the car a total overhaul and to add some mods. The most significant initial changes wereinstallation of aJDM engine, DM transmission, ndBorla exhaust.In 2012 I had a minor front end impact (airbag did not deploy) and decidedthat this was the perfect opportunity to dothe front end 1999 conversionand to change the headlamps.But muchmore work was done over these years, t detailed below.All of thework was commissionedto a local mechanic who was very knowledgable about this particular vehicle. Unfortunately he has nowmoved away and it's time (reluctantly) to let it go as I don't have the skills or time to work on it myself.The car starts with no problem and run fine. This car looks great and sounds great - a real head-turner. The high AutoCheck score speaks for itself. In just a few months this can be registered as a historic car (at least here in Ohio) saving on the cost of annual registration !!

Despite 221,000 miles on the odometer,the engine and transmission are very recent replacements (within the last 30,000 miles). You are getting a highly updatedand well-maintained vehicle with many desirable modsthat can be kept as is or used to equip other vehicles in the 3000GT orDodge Stealth line-up. Overall condition is good. The interior presents nicely.

These cars are notorious for "issues" sohere are the current issues of which I am aware:

• Brake lights not working (they were working until last week... go figure.. fuse or relay perhaps)
• Fog lamps not working (loose wire I think)
• SRS light stays on (very common problem with these cars; may reset if battery is disconnected)
• The hood is not flush with the fenders (very frustrating) and the hood pins don't turn easily (also very frustrating !) (Easy conversion to stock 2nd gen hood if desired)
• Cosmetics: The seats show predictable wear in the expected places. There are somescratches on the hood (near hood pin) and front lamp housing (passenger side).

NOTE about wheels

I haveTWO sets of wheels and tires for this vehicle. The last 3 pictures show the extra wheels and tiresdescribed below:

Winter wheels and tires - As shown, he car is riding onits winter wheels (specs are listed above). They aren't that great-looking but theyserve the purposeand work wellon the few occasions this car is driven on icy roads (we own 3 other cars so thisis nottaken out on the roadmuchin the winter). I have 2 extra Pirelli wintertires - they match the rear set. They aretoo wide (55) to be installed on thefront wheelsas they'll rub the strutwhen turned. In other words, his is a spare set (unused) for the rear.

Summer wheels and tires - During the summer, he car rides on aVERY sweet set of 4 Koenig VIA 690KG wheels equipped with Nitto NT 555 Extreme ZR 235/45 ZR18 95W tires.The lastpicture shows these wheels and tires installed on the car last summer - the2 pictures before this one show the wheels off the car.

In the picture showing the stacked tires, he top 4are theKoenigs/Nittosand the bottom 2 are thewinter Pirellis.
