Description for Mitsubishi Other 1992
Mitsubishi U42T Mini Truck-"Baby Groot.â€VIN: U42T-014439
660cc of triple cylinder power pushes this little truck to a top speed of 55mph. Which is quite fast enough when you are on the wrong side of the car! Not a fuel injected version, but the carb starts the rebuilt engine right up at a flick of the key.Engine had new bearings, 0.050 over pistons and a rebuilt head less than 800 miles ago.
Stuck in a gateway or in the snow? Just push the 4WD button and move on. Need to climb up the bank to get a better view? Select low range and point it where you want to go.
You will lose it if you park it in the woods because the camo paint job is that good, best to stay inside the heated cab, but you will need to roll the windows down if it gets hot, does not have AC.
Pull a little trailer while you push a little trailer with the front and rear tow hitches that are now quite firmly attached to the vehicle.
The 3 inch lift allows the use of 14 inch knobby snow tires. Also has a set of new 12's with new 23 inch ditch digger tires if you want to just stay on the dirt.Front sub frame has been lowered 1-1/2 inches to correct the steering geometery and stop the short axle bind common with lifted trucks.
Bed has fold down sides and a recent coat of bed liner. The body is straight but there are 2 small rust holes.
Will included a tow bar to pull it around with and a plow that never got fitted if you would like them.
Best of all; it's street legal in Colorado! It was quite a process to get it free and clear in CO, it should transfer to any state without issue.
