Description for Nash 1932
Here's an amazingly well preserved old car that I acquired a little over a year ago from an elderly couple in northern Wisconsin. They had owned the car for several years but it had been a long time since it had been driven. I bought the car and got it going again though I have driven it very little since. It has been converted to an electric fuel pump but I will include two original mechanical pumps with the car so it can be converted back which I think would be most ideal. As you can see this is an astoundingly original car with original top fabric. and upholstery. All the interior hardware is original and beautiful as well. The Paint is older and while distressed has excellent appeal. The car has been well taken care of over the years and has excellent sheet metal that shows no signs of past corrosion. filler. dents. or patches. the underside of the car is untouched and in superb condition a well. Chrome bumpers are excellent. glass is great. It is missing a hubcap on the spare. and I do not believe the radiator cap is the correct. one. Tires are good. It has a very nice set of Trippe Lights as well as a nice spot. I think most of the lights on the car work with the exception of a perhaps a bulb or two. All the gauges function other than the fuel. the car does not overheat and carries great oil pressure. It's also a large car with about a 124 inch wheelbaseLike I said I have driven it very little and I'm sure it could benefit from a going over and a tuning but WOW what an amazing sounding. quiet STRAIGHT 8 engine which retains the original and very rare Stromberg EE2 carburetor and air At some point. I am assuming to achieve higher speeds. someone put a more modern rear end in the car with hydraulic brakes. These have never been hooked up but the car does stop very well using the front bakes alone. I also have the original rear end as well though it is missing a hub and will need some brake work also. I think if you look at the pictures carefully you will see that this is a very well preserved example of an uncommon and unique depression era straight eight car that would be a beautiful addition to a nice car collection. a museum or with a little going over a very nice driver as well. Original owners manual in envelope. service policy. delivery card and more included with sale of car I will add details if need be but questions are welcomed at (920) 382-7422
