This is a great car for it's age. It has 28. 30 miles on the odometer. but I'm sure it has rolled over at least once; therefore. it probably has 128. 30 miles. This is a great running. reliable Volkswagen. It has a high performance duel port engine with a Weber 32/36 DFEV carburetor. K&N air filter. comp fire ignition and external oil cooler and oil filter. Recently replaced parts: clutch and pressure plate. ball joints. tie rods. pushrod seals. oil and filter. and had a valve adjustment. Exterior: Painted Hawaiian Green in 2012; there are some small (barley noticeable) dents; new rubber seals around most of the windows; new windshield and rubber/chrome; tires have about 25 percent tread left; classic EMPI 8 spoke rims with and extra one. Interior: Reupholstered in 2012. 3 gauge set (Oil Pressure. Oil temperature. voltage); Sony CD player; some rust around the battery; fuel gauge doesn't work; According to the NADA car value. the average selling price 7. 00 and the high is 14. 00. A few things you should know: There is a small water leak under the dash when it rains. I think it's the windshield wiper motor arm that leaks. Also the tires are down to about 20 to 30 percent. There is also some rust where the battery sits and the fuel gauge doesn't work. Also in the passenger door jam there is a spot that didn't get painted. so you see the original red color (only when the door is open). History: I'm not sure about the history of the car. I bought it from a couple that bought it for their daughter to drive to school. I've owned it for about 6 years now. I have previous owner receipts and recent receipts.
