Speedometer was reset to zero when restored … reads 994 miles today. For sale in Lubbock, Texas is this AWESOME Metropolitan TRUE convertible. See shot of trim tag. I didn’t take the time to drop the top all the way down for pix as I was in a hurry. You can see the boot that comes with. The plastic rear window is clear like new … top fits nice & tight. The classic color scheme fairly shouts “50’s”. Looks nearly as nice underneath as it does on body. Starts, drives, runs, stops, steers as new. (90% tread on correct whitewalls). 1.5 (1500 CC ) Metro 4 cylinder engine starts 1st crank with the electric fuel pump. 3 speed manual transmission shifts smooth & clutch is good. All lights, horn, gages, wipers work as they should. Radio, as expected, does not work. Interior is nice, dash & interior chrome window trim is beautiful. It actually seats four, but the back would be short folk or kids. The exterior paint is REALLY nice with a nick here & there at door openings, comes with fender skirts. Exterior chrome & stainless is super good with the exception of a little pitting on left rear corner of bumper. This little car cruises effortlessly at 70 mph & knocks down 30-35 mpg. Every time we have shown this car it has trophied … people just love it!! Don’t take a back seat to other imports any longer … knock them out of the running with this really cool ride. I’m selling this for a friend who’s husband passed away & I have FULL authority to negotiate. $17,600.00 doesn’t even cover the cost of restoration, but we all know how that goes. Someone will snap this car up pretty quick, so if you like it, CALL TODAY !! Bruce 806 787 4742
