Description for Nash Rambler 1951
FOR SALE, My 1951 Nash Rambler Greenbrier Station Wagon project. The work so far includes,1. Installed new glass (except rear hatch) and windshield with seals. 2. Installed new seat upholstery, front and rear. 3. Installed power windows. 4. Shaved door handles and installed electric poppers. 5. Removed bumpers and made new pans. 6. Installed fuel cell. 7, Installed electric fuel pump. 8, Installed new idler arm bushing. 9, Installed new tie rod ends. 10. Rebuilt brake cylinders. 11. Installed new clutch and pressure plate. 12. Rebuilt drive shaft. 13. Installed new seals for driveshaft. 14. Re-chromed the grille 15. Installed new "Flying Lady" hood ornament. 16. Installed Edmunds finned aluminum head. 17 Installed dual Holley glass bowl carbs. 18. Split the manifold and installed dual exhaust system. 19. Installed Pertronix ignition. 20. Upgraded the engine to 196 cu in. 21. Installed new intake and exhaust valves. 22. Installed 4 new tires. 23. Installed Atlas Port-a-walls. 24. Installed "NASH" full hubcaps. 25. Installed custom switch panel in dash. 26. Installed a tachometer 27. Installed a new aluminum 3 row radiator. 28. Installed a rebuilt water pump. 29, Rebuilt the starter 30. Installed a new alternator. 31. Installed a full wiring kit. 32. Installed a new headliner - not a very good job. 33. Installed floorboard patch panels - not a very good job 34. Removed wipers 35. Painted the car - a garage job, two stage Midnight Blue Pearl 36. Tuned up engine - still runs rough and overheats 37. Reworked the rear hatch - not my best idea ever 38. Installed traction bars to keep differential from rotating.
That is the good and the bad. The car is spectacular and gets a lot of comments where ever I take it. It still needs a few things done but I have grown weary of it and wish to sell it "as is". Contact Jack at (714) 963-6509.
