Hello, have 1991 Maxima (Nissan), t is real rusty and has a bad auto transmission, hat is the bad news, ut the engine runs awesome, o essentially I am selling it for the engine. It will fit many other Nissans of a similar age. Has aftermarket CD player, uns great and drives, ut 2nd and 3rd slip. Everything else works and it has fair tires. You can hear it run at my house and drive it, t drives good too, xcept for the tranny.. I have full and clear title. Not sure but think the engine has been done much more recently than the miles suggest. We got it for a high schooler to drive, nd now she has a better car. The engine alone is probably worth a $1,000+ but, want it gone. Again it always runs awesome and does not burn oil. Buyer must pick the car up within a week of auction. The buyer is responsible for verifying engine compatibility. The engine is the 3.0 liter V6, . The VG30E was an engine that had been used in the Maxima, s well as the first generation Nissan 300ZX. I was told these also fit but, ou are responsible for compatibility, lthough I BELIEVE that almost all these can be exchanged from this era, his is just for reference.
ZG30E--

The 3.0L (2,960cc) VG30E produced 153hp (114kW) and 182lb·ft (247N·m). Bore is 3.43in (87mm) and stroke is 3.27in (83mm). In 300ZX form, t produced 160hp (120kW) and 173lb·ft (235N·m). On April 1987 the "W" series VG30 was released, dding 5 horsepower but leaving torque unchanged. In 1989, he Maxima received the 160hp (120kW) rating, ut also used a variable intake plenum improving torque to 182lb·ft (247N·m) @3200 rpm.

A major difference between the VE30DE and the VG30DE engine is the heads. The low under-hood clearance on the 1992-1994 Nissan Maxima demanded a special head to be developed with 30°, ather than 46°, between the valves. Lack of space also demanded a redesigned camshaft drive system, o a special chain drive was developed. The engine is otherwise similar to the VG30DE.

VE30DE

The 3.0L (2960cc) VE30DE produces 190hp (142kW) at 5600 rpm and 190lb·ft (258 Nm) at 4000 rpm. This engine redlines at 6600 rpm. It was built from July, 991 through March, 994.
