Description for Nissan 300ZX 1991
Up for sale is my right hand drive 91' TT hardtop (slicktop) with a hair over 55,210 miles I am only the second owner of this vehicle and first US owner. The vehicle is Federally legal and has a US title. In addition, I have all accompanying import paperwork translated from Japanese to English. I am selling because I was just accepted into grad school program that I did not think I would get into. So at this time, priorities dictate that I focus my efforts on getting through school first and fun cars forlater. However, since school isn't for another 10 months away, I am in no hurry to sell so please no low-ball offers.
Mechanical:
The vehicle is in perfect mechanical condition. Vitaly at PitStop Performance in Phoenix, AZ (a shop renowned for its expertise in 300zx's) has gone over the car tooth and nail and has made sure everything is in perfect working condition. While the car was there, I had many of the labor intensive maintenance items taken care of that need to be done on any 300zx. I also have the receipts not just for the labor but all of the parts purchased for this massive maintenance overhaul which include but not limited to:
- 120k timing kit (timing belt, tensioners, water pump, bypass hoses, idler pulleys, etc)
- New OEM motor mounts
- New rear main seal
- New power steering pump
- (6) New OEM 370cc fuel injectors
- New RHD engine harness
- HICAS elimination kit
On top of the things listed above, I made sure to research, purchase and have Vitaly install most of the rubber seals and hoses that age and would need to be replaced sooner than later, which will be listed on the receipts. I have spent a total of $2,878.93 on maintenance parts (not including the labor to install said parts).
My goal in doing all of this was to keep the car as reliable as possible because I wanted it to be my fun/alternate daily driver and for that reason, it needed to be completely turnkey. It starts up perfectly in 115 degree Arizona weather, as well as 45 degree weather and everything in between without issue. It also has never overheated, or even reached the mid-point on the temperature needle. As a matter of fact, I've taken the car on a road trip to Tucson, Arizona on a 105 degree day, with the A/C blowing full blast with absolutely no overheatingissues whatsoever.
Interior:
The interior is nearly perfect, the carpet is in great shape, it has brand new MOMO seats and matching MOMO steering wheel. The dash has no cracks, and the cluster and all of the gauges work great. The only things that need to be fixed in the interior is the aftermarket boost gauge which needs to be reconnected and the passenger door tweeter is missing the surrounding ring that holds the tweeter in place. Other than those two things, everything else is in great shape. All of the powered items (windows, stereo, lights, etc) all work perfectly.
Exterior:
The car is painted LP2 and is outfitted with the Greddy Gracer wing (which is rare) as well as the even rarer Ab-flug Power Superior quad exhaust. This car is also sitting on very rare SSR Varden Sport wheels on brand new Nankang tires.
If you're looking for a one of a kind 300zx without the worry of having to do the heavy duty maintenance while it still being a fast car, this is it.
